Health & Safety Info

Here is some important information with regards to safety of face painting.

Never Grow Up uses only International, High Quality, Imported Face Paints. These face paints were designed to be used on delicate skin and conforms to FDA and EU Cosmetic Standards. We use soft brushes and sponges and change our water regularly. We also supply face wipes and tissues for children to blow their noses and clean their faces before we will paint them.

It is also important to note, that should a child have a fever or a cold, broken skin, eczema or any rash we will not be able to paint their face, but we will gladly paint a design on their arm or hand. This is to prevent any contagious diseases from spreading.

If your child has shown any allergic reaction to face paint before, please bring it to our attention before we start, so that we can do a test patch to check for any reaction before continuing.

Craft Paint is not Face Paint!!!

With the world economy being in a downward spiral, you may consider booking a cheaper face painter. You can experience some very unexpected pitfalls such as:

Poor Hygiene Practices, No Knowledge of the products they are using, Pictures not belonging to the artist being displayed, Dirty Work Station, Dirty Paints, Water not regularly changed, Old and dirty sponges and brushes, Broken mirrors to show children the faces.

Some face painters even use poster paints, craft paints, acrylic paints and water colours. These items, although non-toxic, were not developed for use on delicate skin, and may crack, peel off and leave terrible stains. There are also some instances where children have had severe reactions to Craft Paints, as displayed in the image to the left.

All our members and associates were trained to use good hygiene and proper face paints & cosmetic grade glitter.
