The founder of Never Grow Up, Monique Naude, started face painting in 2003 and worked at parties and corporate events in Johannesburg on a part time basis.Never Grow Up was established by Monique after moving to Port Elizabeth. The business was registered in June 2007 after steady growth in corporate and private face painting requests.
Growing taller, but 'Never Growing Up'!
Monique was joined by Robyn Rautenbach, Nicita Carradice and Lizz Franke in 2007.
Never Grow Up grew from strength to strength and built up a respectable reputation, working for a host of private individuals as well as well known Corporates and Shopping Centres.
These include: The Green Room Design Co. General Motors Head Office, Transnet—South African Port Operations, Greenacres Shopping Centre, Pier 14 Shopping Centre, Nelson Mandela Bay Splash Festival, Mount Pleasant Spar Grand Opening, The Spar Red House River Mile and Builders Express Newton Park.
In 2009 Monique relocated back to Johannesburg and worked to improve quality and services on offer, whilst holding a permanent job. In 2012 Never Grow Up had grown so much, that part time painters had to be trained to assist with all the bookings.
Monique has chosen to work in conjunction with Dorinda Roberts, based in Pretoria. Never Grow Up also makes use of various other professional face painters in a network of very talented artists.

Never Grow Up prides itself in ensuring each person receives the personal attention they deserve. We can paint between 8 and 10 faces per hour depending on the designs chosen, and the age of our "canvas". We can also offer creative hair spray designs and glitter tattoos on request, so if paint is not your style, we can offer something slightly different. Please include Hair Spray or Glitter Tats in your enquiry should you wish to request prices for these items.
There are a few exciting possibilities we are looking at to add a bit more flair to your parties, as contracts are finalised, we will udpate this page to keep you informed!
Even adults become children again.
Face Painting is no longer only meant for children. We offer friendly service and advice for your party or event needs. We have a wide variety of designs available and can accommodate most reasonable requests. We can even paint company logos at functions! All we need is to combine our skills with your imagination!
